Thank You for Being Here • The Journey Continues

Before I share what’s next, I simply want to say thank you.

Thank you for reading.

Thank you for spending a few moments with me each time I shared an article here. Whether you left a comment, shared a post, or quietly read from the other side of the screen, you mattered more than you probably realize.

Writing is often a quiet journey.

You never really know if your words are reaching someone.

Knowing you were here encouraged me to keep writing, and for that, I’m deeply grateful.

When I began writing I’m With You: Navigating Inside the Fog of Grief, I thought I was writing one book.

What I didn’t expect was that the writing would continue beyond its pages.

As I worked through each chapter, new thoughts surfaced.

Stories that didn’t quite fit.

Reflections that deserved more space.

Conversations that didn’t end when I typed the final sentence.

What began as a place to continue the conversations that couldn’t fit inside one book has become something I treasure—a place where we can continue walking this journey together.

While I’m With You focuses on navigating grief, life has taught me there is so much more to explore.

We’ll continue talking about grief because grief changes us.

But we’ll also talk about hope, resilience, faith, family, relationships, and the quiet lessons life teaches us as mothers, daughters, sisters, grandmothers, friends—and simply as people trying to navigate this beautiful, complicated life.

I’ve come to believe that some of life’s greatest lessons aren’t waiting for us on the front shelf. They’re tucked away in the back, quietly waiting for experience, loss, hope, grit, perseverance, and grace to bring them into the light.

— Deneen Stone

Those are the conversations I want us to have.

As this journey continues, I’ve created another place where we can keep having them.

It’s called Here Beside You on Substack.

My first essay is already there, and I’d love for you to join me.

It’s completely free, and every new essay can be delivered directly to your inbox.

Don’t worry—this blog isn’t going anywhere. It will always be home.

Substack simply gives us another place to gather, connect, and continue the journey together.

My book will be launching soon, and I can’t wait to share it with you. It represents years of reflection, faith, and a desire to walk beside anyone navigating grief.

Thank you for being here from the beginning.

I hope you’ll continue the journey with me.

I’m here beside you.
